CIMC Wetrans, a subsidiary of CIMC Group, recently announced the successful completion of the end-to-end logistics delivery for an energy storage power plant project in Uzbekistan. Following a 90-day intensive operation, CIMC Wetrans completed the full-process service of international road logistics for the project with its professional one-stop solution, extensive experience in cross-border transportation of oversized equipment, and robust emergency response capabilities. From domestic ports to the project site in Uzbekistan, and from hazardous materials to oversized equipment, the CIMC Wetrans team overcame multiple industry challenges. Securing the logistics contract from the Nengjian Era for the energy storage power plant project in Uzbekistan marks a significant milestone in CIMC Wetrans’s drive to expand its project logistics footprint in Central Asia. This end-to-end logistics solution spans from initial cargo reception and transshipment at Xinjiang’s Khorgos and Kashgar border crossings, straight through to final delivery at the designated site. The services include applying for tax exemptions in Uzbekistan, managing domestic and cross-border customs declarations and transit clearances, as well as handling the loading, unloading, reinforcement, and transport of oversized and out-of-gauge equipment. The entire operation was spearheaded by CIMC Wetrans Multimodal Transportation (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., backed by collaborative support from CIMC Wetrans Changjiang Logistics Co., Ltd.
